( 17mm Allen Head ) This Bolt Is Used With 7/8" Stock Or After Market Pivot Point Bushings On 1968 And Later Type 1 Bug, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 Squareback, Fastback, And Vw Thing Cars With Irs Transmissions. Use Part #AC501140W for Washers (2 Washers Per Bolt Are Required)

Grant steering wheel adapter

I needed a “plain” faced hub for my Grant wheel, and was thinking I might have to machine one myself. Luckily I found this before I reinvented the wheel. The hidden three-bolt design was exactly what I needed. I did have to machine a relief in the backside of the adapter plate because my steering wheel shaft and nut sat about 3/16” proud of the surface. Now I have a the smooth, flat surface for the decal I had made. Thanks for saving me all the time!
