Empi B5-0581-1 Heavy Duty Transmission Main Bearing Thrust Plate, Vw Bus 1968-1979. These Strong Steel Main Bearing Thrust Plates Eliminate Movement Of The Main Shaft Bearing. Aids In Maintaining The Alignment Of The Gears On The Main And Pinion Shafts To Give The Gears Full Contact Thereby Reducing The Chances Of Failure.

Grant steering wheel adapter

I needed a “plain” faced hub for my Grant wheel, and was thinking I might have to machine one myself. Luckily I found this before I reinvented the wheel. The hidden three-bolt design was exactly what I needed. I did have to machine a relief in the backside of the adapter plate because my steering wheel shaft and nut sat about 3/16” proud of the surface. Now I have a the smooth, flat surface for the decal I had made. Thanks for saving me all the time!
