Urethane Steering Coupler

Part arrived quickly and well packed.
Haven't had a chance to install it yet.

I had previously replaced the originalVW made coupling and had an issue with the horn on a 1970 VW Ghia.
Turned out the replacement part was causing the problem. reinstalled the old original and horn issue was resolved. Ordered this Urethane part instead of the rubber part. I expect it will not cause a problem with the horn. Apparently the rubber replacement parts have a metal reenforcement that can cause the coupling to be conductive. This causes the Horn to sound as soon as the ignition key is turned on. I checked the resistance on the new Urethane part and it shows no conductivity so it should work and not cause problems with the horn.
